An assembly and installation company that provides commercial and residential services seeking Controller to oversee financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Prepare quarterly/annual financial reports
- Complying with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting
- Process payroll for companies employees.
- Utilizing Great Plans and Salesforce.
- Maintain documented system of accounting policies and operations
- Oversee payments of all accounts; ensuring all accounts are paid on time
- Process accounts and collecting payments
- Prepare and organize financial statements for record and review
Requirements:
- Candidate has 5 to 10 years of experience in field
- Previous experience as an accountant, accounting supervisor, or manager
- Great Plains software would be preferred.
- Salesforce experience would be a plus.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
