If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose -- to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Summary:The "Quality Control Inspector" will be based in Libertyville IL, reporting to Quality Supervisor inspects electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components and parts for conformance to specifications.Schedule - Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm (temporarily); changes to 6am-6pm with rotating schedule when production starts.Responsibilities:Performs visual inspection of electronic card and sub-assemblies, and systems or units to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.Utilizes gages, templates, microscopes and other manufacturing aids to ensure that all product meets the established specifications for reliability and workmanship.Ensures that all required process operations have been performed on the product that is being inspected.Enters all quality data into the appropriate electronic or manual systems.Notifies the appropriate personnel if unusual product defects are identified or if process falls below acceptable levels.Provides timely feedback to manufacturing if non-conforming product is identified.Accurately completes all administrative activities associated with quality inspection.Performs process audits and assists manufacturing with the interpretation of the quality and workmanship standards.Assists with the disposition of all non-conforming materials/product.Qualifications:Completion of a high school degree or equivalent is preferred.Successful completion of company provided training may be required.Typically requires 1 year of quality or related experience.What you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition ReimbursementApplication Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
