Experienced RV Technician

Job Description

Job Description

Tired of slow seasons and layoffs? We have steady year-round work, real growth opportunity, and the volume to keep skilled techs busy every week of the year.

Holiday World RV is hiring an experienced RV Technician to join our service team. We’re not a small shop hoping to make it through winter — we’re an established dealer group that’s grown from 35 employees to over 325 in the last 20 years, with the customer base and consistent volume to back it up.

If you know your way around an RV — electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, slide-outs, roofs, flooring — and you’re tired of bouncing between shops or wondering if next month’s hours will hold up, we want to talk to you.

• Diagnosing and repairing travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes
• Planning your work, providing accurate labor estimates, and keeping advisors updated on progress
• Replacing components, installing accessories, and completing manufacturer warranty work
• Documenting repairs clearly through our paperless system so you get paid for every hour you turn
• Staying current with factory technical bulletins and attending paid factory training
• Mentoring trainee techs as your experience and interest allow

• Hands-on experience working on RVs, campers, or comparable trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair)
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently once you know the job
• A professional attitude and the kind of work ethic that values a good day’s work for a good day’s pay
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• RVTI or manufacturer certifications a plus — but if you’ve got the skills, we’ll help you get certified

• Year-round, steady work — no seasonal layoffs, no slow weeks, no worrying about hours
• Hourly or flat rate pay from $20–$45/hr , based on experience and certifications
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid vacation, paid holidays, paid factory training
• Annual bonus plan
• A real growth path — we promote from within, and our service department is expanding

Holiday World RV operates some of the nation’s premier RV dealerships and has become a top choice for RVers in the markets we serve. We’ve grown from 35 employees to over 325 in the last 20 years by valuing the people who do the work. We invest in our facility, our tools, and our people — because we know good technicians have options, and we want you to choose us.

Ready to stop worrying about next season’s hours? Apply today.
