RN - Inpatient Care SpecialistWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled registered nurse to join our inpatient services team in a regional healthcare facility located in the Midwest. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of nursing practice.Essential responsibilities include:Providing skilled nursing care to assigned patients with attention to physical, psychological, spiritual, and social needs.Conducting thorough assessments upon admission and establishing treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses.Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized interdisciplinary care plans involving patients and their families.Utilizing available resources effectively and consulting with physicians, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals as needed.Continuously reassessing and documenting patient status, recognizing complications, and taking appropriate action.Administering medications and IV therapy safely, ensuring accurate documentation.Educating patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans in an understandable manner.Organizing workload efficiently to provide timely care and maintain accurate documentation according to approved methods.Communicating patient status and relevant information promptly to the interdisciplinary team.Maintaining regular attendance and meeting the physical demands of the role.Education: Associate degree or higher in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.Experience and requirements include:Current registered nurse license valid for practice in the state of Iowa or eligibility to work in the state.Certification in basic life support (BLS) as per American Heart Association standards.Completion of mandatory reporter training within six months of hire.Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.This position offers full-time hours with day and night shifts available, including shift differentials for second and third shifts. A sign-on bonus is also offered to qualified candidates.
