Warehouse Team LeadThe Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations while actively working alongside the team. This role ensures safety, productivity, accuracy, and adherence to company standards while serving as the first level of leadership for warehouse associates. Working closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Team Lead helps see the plans turn to realities. A typical day will involve forklift use to keep the team stocked across various projects and departments, as well as jumping in to join the team hit their productivity goals.Leadership and People ManagementLead, coach, and support warehouse associates during daily operationsCoordinate with the Warehouse Operations Manager to assign daily tasks and ensure labor is aligned with workload prioritiesProvide on-the-spot training, guidance, and corrective coachingModel Debrand's values, professionalism, and safe work practicesEscalate performance, attendance, or behavioral concerns to managementSupport onboarding and training of new hiresOperational ExecutionOversee daily warehouse activities including but not limited to receiving, put-away, staging, and shippingEnsure data is entered correctly to company softwareMaintain a clean and organized floorStep in to perform hands-on duties as neededSafety and ComplianceEnforce all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirementsConduct safety checks and address hazards immediatelyConduct audits to ensure quality integrityReport incidents, near-misses, and equipment issuesEnsure compliance with company policiesCommunication and ReportingAct as the primary point of contact between associates and managementCommunicate priorities, expectations, and operational updates clearly and effectivelyTrack attendance, productivity, and daily performance metricsProvide end-of-shift updatesQualifications2+ years of warehouse or dock experience; lead experience preferredValid forklift certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire. Previous forklift experience is requiredStrong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving proceduresAbility to input data accurately and update software in real timeStrong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teamsBasic computer skills.
