CNC Lead Machinist

Pay $30-$35 per hour depending on experience. What is the job? Operates and maintains lathes (HMC) adjusting feed and speed settings as required. Reviews instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production. Takes precise measurements for cutting and shaping. Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment successfully. Checks output for quality assurance and documents results Identifies needs and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs. Maintains a clean and safe workstation and environment. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and requests as needed. Operates forklift and other machinery as required in a safe, responsible manner. What do you bring to the job? A high school diploma and technical certificate are preferred Minimum of 2-5 years of experience, preferred. Experience with large OD micrometers, live tooling, HMCs Excellent coordination and mechanical skills Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety at all times Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly. Ability to use precision tools and large micrometers to take accurate measurements. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals accurately Why should you choose NIM?
