Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid with 4 Days per Week Onsite in Greenwood Village, CO Type: 6-month contract Compensation: $65/hr - $75/hr W2 *This role is not open to sponsorship or third parties* We are partnering with a premier, nation-wide connectivity and telecommunications leader to find a senior-level Network Engineer who is passionate about automation, robust security, and cloud integration. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing Designing and maintaining high-speed connections across physical data centers, branch offices, and public cloud environments (including AWS and Azure). Administering advanced next-gen firewalls (specifically Palo Alto), optimizing security policies, managing secure VPNs, and executing strict segmentation strategies. Building smart solutions and leveraging infrastructure-as-code tools (like Python, Ansible, and Terraform) to streamline provisioning, monitor system health, and eliminate repetitive tasks. Fine-tuning load balancers, deploying modern SD-WAN solutions, and proactively diagnosing traffic anomalies to ensure maximum uptime and zero service disruptions. Here’s What Our Ideal Candidate Has 5+ years of progressive network engineering experience, with deep hands-on knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, and core protocols. Proven success managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Palo Alto security appliances and advanced threat prevention features. Strong practical experience scripting with Python and deploying network changes via Ansible, Terraform, or APIs. A solid understanding of hybrid cloud networking, software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), and load-balancing technologies.
