Warehouse Material Handler

About the Role. The Warehouse Material Handler is primarily responsible for forklift operation, loading and unloading trucks and deliveries, picking/packing orders to ensure timely delivery to customers and processing paperwork for all orders. Helps maintains accurate inventory and works in internal computer systems to adjust inventory as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Reading and interpreting bills of lading and other shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Operating a forklift to gather materials and products for orders.
• Pulling and preparing orders, to include wrapping and tagging outbound freight.
• Review all incoming shipments for accuracy and check for damages or missing materials.
• Generate warehouse shipping documents, packing slips and invoices.
• Provide coverage for Warehouse Team Lead when required.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience operating a forklift (Certification preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Order picking experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Team Player
• Attention to detail
