Floor Tech PT Evenings (27638)
Nacogdoches County Hospital District
Position Summary Under general direction, clean and maintain all floors in the facility, performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment. Position Duties (Not all Inclusive)
- Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors.
- Utilizes the "wet floor" signs , observing safety precautions at all times including using safety precautions when operating floor equipment to prevent falls
- Properly operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely.
- Removes debris and cleans floors thoroughly with proper cleaning before waxing.
- Moves furniture and equipment to ensure all floors are clean before waxing.
- Required: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English required.
- Required: Must physically be able to perform essential duties.
- Required: Previous Floor Technician Experience
- Required: Expertise in all aspect of floor maintenance will be required (stripping, waxing, buffing, deep scrubs and recoating)
