Company Description ASTUTE COUNSELING + WELLNESS is a private mental health practice located on the north side of Chicago, providing inclusive, trauma informed and affirming care. The practice supports individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, panic, trauma, grief, and challenging life transitions. Services also address LGBTQIA+ concerns, eating disorders, stress and wellness, addiction as well as couple and family therapy needs. Clinicians collaborate to offer personalized treatment plans that promote resilience, healing, and sustained well-being. We also have a full Wellness Center on site with the yoga studio, Acupuncture, sound bath, Reiki, massage therapy, workshops, and retail, so the mind-body connection is an absolute must for applicants.Role Desc ription The FULLY LICENSED Mental Health Therapist is a full-time, hybrid role based in LAKEVIEW, Chicago, IL,. You must be a fully licensed clinician or licensed eligible in the state of Illinois. We do not take LSW‘s who needs supervision hours or interns. We work with a combination of in-office sessions and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, completing intake assessments, and developing and implementing evidence-informed treatment plans. The therapist will maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, collaborate with other providers and community resources when appropriate, and participate in case consultation. Additional duties may include crisis intervention, care coordination, and engagement in professional development activities to support best practices in mental health care. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Treatment Planning and Mental Health assessment, with the ability to create and adjust person-centered interventions. Private practice experince strongly encouraged. Wellness coordination of services and advocacy for client needs. Experience providing Family Therapy and working effectively with couples and diverse family systems is a plus Relevant master’s degree (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology) and active or eligible licensure in Illinois (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LSW, LPC). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, commitment to anti-oppressive and culturally responsive practice, and comfort working with LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized communities. Ability to manage a full-time caseload of 28 in a hybrid setting, maintain clear boundaries, and uphold ethical and legal standards of practice. Prior outpatient or private practice experience, trauma-informed training, and familiarity with evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based approaches) are beneficial. more info here #J-18808-Ljbffr
