School Speech Language Pathologist

School Speech Language Pathologist delivering evaluation and therapy services to students, supervising SLPA staff, and maintaining documentation in line with IEPs and state regulations. This role supports student progress and contributes to the educational mission in Channelview, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation and therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and state regulations.
• Supervise and collaborate with SLPA staff to ensure effective service delivery.
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including IEP paperwork and progress reports.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and school functions.
• Support student progress through direct services when appropriate and requested.

Qualifications:

• Standard SLP education requirements apply.
• Standard SLP licensure and certification as required by state and facility.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle evaluation and paperwork.
• Willingness to supervise SLPAs.
• Compliance with school health and safety protocols.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in evaluation, IEP paperwork, and SLPA supervision.
