About this Role: Under the direction of the Chief, Clinical Operations and Administration Section (COAS), the Analyst II, serves as a coordinator for a varied and complex technical and analytical staff work. The incumbent will assist and responds to requests for Protected Health Information (PHI) Data Release, Public Records Act (PRA), Subpoenas and Record Retention assignments. The Analyst II will also provide budget coordination and will facilitate budget-related tasks and fiscal analysis for the Clinical Assurance Division (CAD), including but not limited to gather, analyze and provide essential information for departmental budget drills, regularly work with the Financial Management Division on CAD's fiscal budgetary projections, review the Governor's Budget for accuracy, analyze the potential impact to the CAD by conducting baseline allotments, administrative projections, among others. These activities require the Analyst II to work independently and maintain cooperative working relationships. The Analyst II must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a degree of initiative, independence, and organization in addition to having familiarity with the Budget Forecasting System (BFS) and Fi$cal procedures, GovQA, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement . Telework and Salary Information
This position is currently eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in person a minimum of two days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change consistent with DHCS' Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 - 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated office and residence subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate. The DHCS office location for this position is: 830 Stillwater Road, West Sacramento, CA 95605. Salary: Effective July 1, 2025, the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the temporary Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). PLP 2025 directs that each employee receive a temporary reduction in pay in exchange for PLP 2025 leave credits. The temporary salary reduction percentage and the number of PLP 2025 leave credits are based on the position's associated bargaining unit.
