Position: Welder
Location: South Fulton, GA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Fridays as needed based on department workload
Pay: $18-19/hr
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary
We are hiring a Welder for a client in the South Fulton, GA area. This role supports the Paint Line department and focuses on repetitive welding of small 2-inch parts. No fabrication is required — this is production welding in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld small 2-inch parts to specification on the Paint Line

• Perform repetitive welds consistently while maintaining quality standards

• Inspect welds for defects and rework as needed

• Read and follow work instructions, weld symbols, and production specs

• Keep the work area clean and organized per 5S standards

• Wear all required PPE and follow shop safety procedures

• Meet daily production targets set by the department

Must Haves

• Prior production welding experience

• Ability to weld small parts consistently and accurately

• Ability to stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

• Availability to work Fridays when the department requires it

Preferred Skills

• Experience welding in a paint line or finishing department

• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

• Basic blueprint or weld symbol reading
