Inventory Clerk

Inventory Clerk Facilities & Operations 4 hrs/day, 12 mos/year Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. Job Responsibilities This Inventory Clerk is responsible for inventory and records management. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures. Does related work as required. Maintains stock, inventory records, and fixed assets in an electronic inventory database. Coordinates ordering, receiving, storing, retrieving, scanning, and dispensing inventory materials, records, and assets. Conducts periodic physical count inventories and participates in audits, purchasing, disposition and destruction processes. Collaborates with outside vendors and coordinates efforts with district purchasing and technology programs and departments. May serve as back up for periodic bulk mailings, mail runs and/or other deliveries as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis. High technical aptitude with experience working in Microsoft Office and/or Google Documents, specifically Excel and/or Sheets, preferred. Compensation & Benefits Step 1 ($22.44/hr) - Step 7 ($29.18/hr) CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement Certifications/Qualifications Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and two (2) years of office clerical experience with aptitude for learning new technology with at least one year experience with ordering, receiving, and issuing a variety of supplies and/or maintaining inventory records. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and administration. Detail oriented, excellent oral and written communication skills. Exhibit good judgment, mental alertness, tact and courtesy. Physical condition commensurate with the responsibilities of the position. Strong computer skills with aptitude for learning new software technology required.
