Base Pay: $2,000.00 / Year Job Summary Are you passionate about art, culture, and creating social media content? Join PEM’s Marketing team as a TikTok intern! As a contributor to our marketing team, you will work closely with the Social Media Manager to brainstorm, create, and produce original content specifically for PEM’s TikTok channel. This content will highlight the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and public programming, helping to share the museum with a broad audience. Responsibilities Brainstorm and plan TikTok content strategies. Create, film, and edit engaging TikTok videos. Collaborate with museum staff and visitors to capture in‑person video content. Align content with PEM’s collections, exhibitions, and public programming. Internship Qualifications A portfolio of TikTok videos that showcase creativity, storytelling, and production skills. A passion for art and culture and a desire to share it with a broad audience on social media. Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Proficiency with video editing software such as CapCut, Canva, and similar tools. Strong communication skills; able to collaborate and communicate effectively with museum staff and visitors. Ability to work in‑person for video content capture (required). Requirements The Fall Internship Program runs from September 10 through December 14, 2026, or an alternate end date agreed upon by the intern and hiring manager. Interns must attend a mandatory in‑person orientation on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and participate in professional development sessions typically held on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through December 3, 2026. Session times are subject to change and may be offered in a hybrid format. This internship provides a $2,000 stipend and requires the completion of 180 hours, including participation in professional development programming. This equates to approximately 15 onsite hours per week over the course of twelve weeks. All internships are fully in‑person and take place on site.
