Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Annual Salary: $250k-$275k (varies depending on years of experience)

A dynamic and well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in NYC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to lead its clinical operations. This center provides a wide range of primary and specialty care services to a diverse patient population and is recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight across all medical departments and programs.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure quality improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support and mentor healthcare providers to maintain high standards of care.
• Participate in strategic planning and development of clinical protocols.
• Promote interdisciplinary teamwork and integrated care delivery.
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety practices.
• Represent the health center in community and professional settings as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine specialty, required.
• Board Certification (mandatory).
• Active New York State medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience in outpatient clinical settings.
• Prior leadership experience as a Medical Director or Associate Medical Director is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with FQHC operations and Patient-Centered Medical Home principles preferred.
