Supply Chain SpecialistWaterloo, IA | $60,000 to $65,000 per yearA manufacturing facility in Waterloo, Iowa is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to fill inventory requests by receiving and dispensing parts and supplies to production departments.Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift available.Compensation: $60,000 to $65,000 per year.What You'll DoIn this role, you will receive merchandise by unloading vehicles, checking for damage, and verifying freight bills, and you will fill orders by identifying and pulling requested items, packing and labeling them, noting back orders, and verifying completeness. You will prepare orders for carrier service by packing and labeling merchandise, arranging pickup or delivery to the carrier, and maintaining carrier records. You will control inventory by conducting physical counts and reconciling them with the inventory system, notifying purchasing when reorder points are reached, and retrieving unused or excess supplies and equipment for reentry into inventory. You will answer questions, input and generate data, and complete forms as needed, and you will support other departments by establishing routine deliveries of standard orders and anticipating predictable supply needs.
