Unit Type: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

  • Number of Beds: 19 Main PACU, 4 Beds in Atrium PACU
  • Number of Staff: 13 Full-Time Employees
  • Type of Staff: Registered Nurses (RNs), Clinical Coordinator, Department Assistants
Shifts
  • Day Shift Options: 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM with a waterfall schedule
  • Night Shift: On-call after 9:30 PM
Patient Care Ratios
  • 2:1 for stable patients
  • 1:1 for unstable ICU patients
  • 1:1 for pediatric patients
