Telehealth Registered Nurse (Part time or Full time)

Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse who is committed to reproductive justice and trauma-informed care, and energized by the opportunity to expand access to safe, patient-centered abortion care through telemedicine. In this role, you will provide direct clinical support to patients undergoing medication abortion. As a remote RN, you will respond to patient’s medical questions and concerns, delivering timely triage, clinical assessment, and patient-specific nursing guidance. You’ll ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and cared for—providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care during moments that matter most. We are currently hiring for a part time or full time RN. Part time Working hours: 10 hr shifts - 12pm-10pm ET / 9am-7pm PT Working days: Friday and Saturday or Tuesday and Sunday + one on-call shift outside of scheduled working hours Compensation: $48/hr-$53/hr + on-call pay Anticipated start: October - November 2026 Full time Working hours: 10 hr shifts - 10am-8pm ET / 7am-5pm PT Working days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Compensation: $90k-$93k Anticipated start: October - November 2026 Qualifications 2+ years of clinical experience as an RN (BSN required) preferably in telehealth 1+ year experience providing abortion & reproductive healthcare Active state licensure (RN) in least one of the following states: CA, CO, IL, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OH, VA or compact state license. Strong clinical assessment and triage skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in real time Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, empathetic guidance to patients in moments of stress or uncertainty through chat and virtual visits Ability to navigate clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, organizational policies related to patient care and documentation Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients Experience providing trauma-informed, patient-centered care Commitment to reproductive justice and expanding access to abortion care Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment Eager to engage in constant process improvement to refine our tools and operations for improved care delivery Preferably bilingual in Spanish Benefits $48 - $53 an hour Flexible vacation policy Health, dental, and vision insurance with FSA At Hey Jane, we work towards the vision of having equitable healthcare, changing the status quo, and rebuilding the way people experience healthcare—and bring that same vision to our workplace.
