Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience.\n5+ years of Risk Management and Insurance industry experience.\nStrong relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain partnerships with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative approach.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business software applications.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally.\nAdvanced degree in a related field.\nProfessional insurance certifications such as CPCU, ARM, AIC, or similar.\nCaptive insurance management experience (831(b) and 831(a)).\nExecutive lines insurance experience, including Cyber, D&O, Crime, and related coverages.\nExperience investigating complex liability and fatality claims.\nLarge property loss claim management and recovery negotiation experience.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications\nExperience managing complex property insurance programs across U.S., London, and Bermuda markets, including layered and shared property structures.\nExperience with RMIS platforms such as Origami.\nMultistate and multiline claims investigation and documentation experience.\nExperience deploying nationwide loss control programs in a remote environment.\nKnowledge of Trust Layer and related risk management resources.\nTraining, development, and presentation experience, including communicating complex renewal strategies to executive stakeholders.\nInsurance modeling experience.\nRetail brokerage experience.\nPersonal lines insurance experience.\nExperience securing coverage for coastal properties, particularly in Florida and California.\nAdvanced database management and spreadsheet development skills.\nExperience managing public adjusters and negotiating claim recovery terms.\nAudit experience, including Samba Safety driving privilege reporting.\nExperience managing multi-state insurance broker teams.\n10+ years of cross-functional leadership experience preferred.

Insight Global is hiring an experienced Insurance Risk Manager on behalf of a leading commercial real estate organization. This individual will be responsible for overseeing complex insurance and risk management programs, supporting business operations through strategic risk mitigation, insurance renewals, claims management, compliance initiatives, and carrier/broker relationships.\n\nResponsibilities\nManage day-to-day insurance and risk management activities across the organization.\nServe as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, insurance brokers, carriers, and third-party partners.\nLead annual insurance renewal efforts, including carrier submissions, renewal strategy, and relationship management.\nConduct risk assessments and due diligence for new locations, projects, and business ventures.\nCoordinate claims administration, billing issues, loss control initiatives, and compliance requirements.\nDevelop and implement safety and risk control programs across multiple business units.\nCollaborate with finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership to support organizational objectives.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with brokers, carriers, adjusters, and internal stakeholders.
