Production SupervisorsLone Star Bakery, Inc. is a family-owned business and is currently looking for Production Supervisors.Day & Night shifts availableJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust have experience overseeing manufacturing processes.Routinely inspect the line to ensure that employees are following employee and food safety procedures.Effectively supervise, train and develop employees on a continual basis.Manage all employee related issues and communicates appropriate concerns in a timely manner.Demonstrate amazing leadership and interpersonal skills; develop and participate in team goals and concepts.Ensure that ingredients, packaging, and materials are correctly issued to the production floor.Ensure that formulas are correctly followed and that inventory movements are correctly captured.Monitor production line and product quality throughout the manufacturing process.Ensure that proper containers, wraps, boxes, and codes are used at all times.Manage daily attendance and hours worked and ensure employees are properly rotated for lunch and breaks on a daily basis.Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all production documentation.Demonstrate personal accountability, continuous improvement and skills growth.Job Requirements, Education, & CertificationsExperience in a food manufacturing facility.Demonstrated team leadership.Ability to read, write, and speak English and complete relevant Company documents.Knowledge of barcoding system.Ability to team-lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions.Environmental ConditionsExtreme temperature variationsWet surfacesNoiseIndustrial ovens and equipment and moving mechanical parts
