This 49-bed Level III trauma center provides full scope obstetric and gynecologic services to the regional patient population on an on-site basis. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and structured workflows to support both clinic and call coverage across all assigned periods. Clinical operations are conducted in accordance with day shift and 24-hour beeper call coverage requirements.

Alamosa, Colorado is situated in the San Luis Valley, nestled between the San Juan Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The area provides access to Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, where visitors may hike, sandboard, and explore Zapata Falls. Additional recreational opportunities include the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge, the Rio Grande River Walk, scenic cycling routes, and historic steam railroad excursions through the Rocky Mountains.

Clinicians will provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic coverage on a day shift basis with 24-hour beeper call at an on-site facility in Alamosa, Colorado, with coverage beginning as soon as possible on an ongoing basis, including multiple November and December dates. Clinical responsibilities encompass the full range of obstetric and gynecologic care delivered across both clinic and call environments, with an average patient volume of 15-20 patients per day during clinic hours. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured as 24-hour beeper call. Support staff includes medical assistants and certified nurse midwives.
