Registered Nurse STO - Med/Surg Neuro - East

Pay rate: $80.00/hour We are seeking nurses to commit to a 13-week assignment, working three 12-hour night shifts per week. The RN for Community East inpatient neuro unit will provide exceptional care to patients who have a mixed multitude of medical/neurological diagnoses, not just stroke or those with neurological deficits. This department is equipped with advanced technology needed to treat patients with the most critical neurological conditions in a welcoming environment that promotes family visitation, which is crucial to the healing process. Our team combines critical care training with a patient‑centered focus, so patients have the best care during their stay. Inpatient Neuro is an excellent unit to start your nursing career and prepare you for your future path/specialty area. Responsibilities Provide exceptional care to patients in the inpatient neuro unit. Utilize advanced technology to treat patients with critical neurological conditions. Promote a welcoming environment that encourages family visitation. Qualifications Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources. Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). At least two full years of recent RN experience.
