Our clients include Fortune 100 companies and a number of government agencies. Job Description Synthesis Systems is looking for a Java Developer for a long-term contract in Herndon, VA. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to government contract and able to pass a background investigation. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues with a quick turnaround time and communicate root cause and workaround options to team members and clients. Independently resolve system defects to be in-line with system requirements. Design, develop, and unit test new enhancement requests. Technical analysis and documentation of complex functions in the system. Interact with other developers, testers and analysts on release and team initiatives. Qualifications Strong Java and J2EE application development experience with at least 5 years of experience. Ability to analyze requirements and formulate design. Experience with Spring/Hibernate.
