Cytotechnologist / Cytology Tech

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Cytotechnologist to evaluate cytological specimens and perform diagnostic interpretation based on established criteria. The role involves examining cell samples on slides to detect disease conditions, including pre-malignant and malignant cells, in compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Examine gynecological and non-gynecological slides daily following departmental protocols.
\n
• Record findings in the computer system and maintain accurate screening logs.
\n
• Identify and resolve issues affecting test performance or result reporting.
\n
• Communicate relevant issues to supervisors or managers.
\n
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshoot methods.
\n
• Assist with documentation for departmental QA/QC programs.
\n
• Adhere to laboratory safety guidelines and privacy/security policies.
\n

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
