About the Role

As the ADON , you will support the Director of Nursing in ensuring high-quality resident care, strong clinical outcomes, and smooth day-to-day nursing operations. You will help lead our nursing team, uphold compliance with federal and state standards, and provide compassionate leadership that reflects our Spirit of Excellence .

What You’ll Do

• Support 24/7 oversight of nursing services alongside the Director of Nursing

• Ensure resident care plans meet physician orders, regulatory standards, and facility policies

• Communicate policies, train staff, and monitor clinical practices

• Participate in admissions decisions and assess prospective residents when needed

• Attend daily and weekly leadership meetings to discuss resident status and staffing

• Ensure high-quality, compassionate care—monitoring cleanliness, wound prevention, and resident well-being

• Monitor key clinical quality indicators and implement systems to exceed targets

• Collaborate with physicians, consultants, therapy, and community partners

• Oversee competency testing for licensed and unlicensed staff

• Lead and maintain the facility’s infection control program

• Serve as acting Director of Nursing when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license in the state of Missouri

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

• 5+ years long-term care or acute care experience preferred

• 2+ years nursing supervisory experience required

• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills
