Role Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities Provide urgent care for approximately 80 patients daily in a busy emergency department, with shifts covering 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Ensure quality patient care, collaborate with 24-hour APP coverage, and utilize Meditech EMR for documentation. Handle consults multiple times daily and support backup specialties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), active Texas license, minimum 2 years of ED experience or Family Medicine with EM fellowship. Strong clinical skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills are essential. Additional Details Must have active ABEM certification and Texas medical license.
