The Sales Consultant will build and maintain relationships with residential and commercial builders, contractors, and homeowners, promoting TruTeam’s installation services and product offerings. Daily responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, conducting site visits, preparing accurate estimates and proposals, and following up to close sales while meeting or exceeding revenue targets. The role involves coordinating with installation teams and branch operations to ensure projects are scheduled, executed, and completed to customer expectations. The Sales Consultant will also resolve customer inquiries, provide product and service guidance, and support ongoing customer satisfaction and retention. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills to understand customer needs, propose solutions, and drive profitable business. Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to manage inquiries, handle issues, and ensure a positive experience throughout the installation process. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities. Proven experience in field sales, construction, building materials, or related industries is beneficial. Ability to read basic construction documents, prepare estimates, and manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with a results‑oriented approach and comfort working both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with common business software (e.g., CRM systems, email, spreadsheets) and a valid driver’s license for local travel to customer sites.
