Principal EP Mapping Specialist, CAS - Denver, CO

EP Mapping Specialist – Cardiac Ablation Solutions Join Medtronic as an EP Mapping Specialist and be at the forefront of transforming lives through advanced medical technology. In this dynamic role, you’ll work alongside a collaborative team of clinicians, engineers, physicians, and innovators to execute solutions for cardiac and other electrophysiological systems. By blending technical expertise with a passion for improving patient outcomes, you’ll have the opportunity to impact global healthcare directly. Responsibilities Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures. Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures. Develop and cultivate customer relationships that result in incremental business. Work in partnership with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities. Collaborate and strategize with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products. Collaborate and communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region. Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support. Serve as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in mapping technology. Required Qualifications High school diploma plus a minimum of 10 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Associate degree plus a minimum of 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation. Preferred Qualifications B.A./B.S. in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a technical discipline with a minimum of four years of work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales. Proven track record with technical training assignments. Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support. Additional Job Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive approximately 25‑50% of the time within the assigned territory; overnight travel may be required. Must be available daily within the assigned territory to respond to unscheduled needs. Must be able to freely move throughout the facility, use a computer, phone, keyboard and mouse, and visually interact with personal computers. Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for 8 hours a day. Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation is acceptable. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, the degree must satisfy 8 C.F.R. §214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
