BACKFILL - CONTRACT - CARDIAC CATH LAB TECH #26-23927 $2,731/week Austin, TX Allied Health Professional // Cath Lab Technologist $1,771 weekly stipends $24/hour $960 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 8/24/2026 13 weeks Day Shift 10 hours/day 4 days/week BACKFILL - CONTRACT - CARDIAC CATH LAB TECH (746) - 13 WEEKS - 6:30A-5:00P ON CALL REQ Unit Information: SDMC Cath Lab Location: St David's Medical Center Building: Main Floor: 2 nd Floor Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 746 Discipline: Cath Lab Tech Quantity: 1 Target Start Date: 10/26/24 Shift: Days- 6:45a-3:15p- Monday through Friday (Open to for 4 x10's if difficult to fill 8 hr shifts) Call Requirements: Variable call shifts (1-2 call shifts per week) Weekends: Variable call shifts (1 weekend) General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -2 Cath Labs Number of Staff – 7 teammates Type of staff: Day Shift – 3 RN's, 3 Cath Lab Techs, 1 Charge Nurse Coordinator Night Shift - NA Patient Ratios – 1:1 Type of equipment – Philips Xper FD20 and FD10, Shockwave, Penumbra, etc. EMR – Client's Merge and Meditech Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) –Y Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Experience in Cath lab > one year able to conduct Interventional assistance (RCIS, RCES, or RT license) BLS & ACLS certification Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. IR tech or EP tech experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
