About the Position

Job Title: RN Outpatient Surgery/Day Surgery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Surgery/Day Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x4 nights Hours per Shift: Varies (shifts range from 6a-6p, 7a-7p, 8a-8p, 9a-9p) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Preop / PACU experience Description: The RN will provide care in the outpatient surgery and day surgery setting. The role includes preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit responsibilities. On-call requirements consist of approximately 3-4 weeknight calls and one 24-hour weekend call within an 8-week period. The call requirement may vary based on staffing needs. Weeknight call hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM. Weekend call hours are from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day.
