Senior HRIS Analyst – Workday Benefits & Core HCM | Atlanta, GA

Senior HRIS Analyst opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia for an experienced Workday Benefits and Core HCM professional supporting a high-impact healthcare technology team. In this lead functional role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Workday configuration, production support, reporting, troubleshooting, and system optimization across a complex healthcare environment. You will collaborate with HR Operations, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, IT, and organizational leadership to deliver reliable HRIS solutions and support regulatory and audit requirements.

Senior HRIS Analyst Job Details

• Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
• Schedule: 36 hours per week with regular in-office presence
• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240–$2,660

Workday HRIS Analyst Job Requirements

• 10 or more years of HRIS or HCM experience
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience with Workday Benefits and Core HCM
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting Workday Open Enrollment
• Strong experience with Workday Reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, data validation, and data audits
• Experience with Workday business process configuration, EIBs, system releases, and change management
• Proficiency creating test plans and scripts and performing UAT, regression testing, and production support
• Knowledge of ACA, COBRA, benefits eligibility, and related compliance requirements
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday HCM and Benefits solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience serving as a liaison between business and technical teams
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred

Workday HRIS Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Workday Benefits, Core HCM, Manager Self-Service, Employee Self-Service, and Reporting
• Provide day-to-day functional support and resolve complex production issues across HR and Benefits operations
• Partner with Benefits, HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to investigate issues and deliver effective Workday solutions
• Lead and coordinate Workday Open Enrollment activities, including configuration validation, testing, and issue management
• Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and data validations
• Gather requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend process improvements across Benefits and HCM functions
• Create and execute test plans, test scripts, UAT, and regression testing for enhancements and releases
• Perform data audits and validation activities to support data integrity, reporting accuracy, compliance, and regulatory readiness
• Support Workday releases, system upgrades, business process improvements, and change-management activities
• Maintain configuration records, technical documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures
