This Is a Career Track

Our goal is not to keep you in an assistant position indefinitely.

For the right person, the opportunity can develop along this path:

Community Operations Associate → Assistant Community Manager → Community Manager

As you learn the business and demonstrate your ability to take on greater responsibility, you'll have the opportunity to grow with the company. We will teach you the HOA business.

What Makes This Position Different?

Traditional HOA management can involve an enormous amount of repetitive work—emails, phone calls, paperwork, data entry, follow-ups, scheduling, and tracking. We're working to change that.

Our technology platform is designed to move more of that work into a centralized system. AI assists our team with organizing information, drafting communications, identifying issues, and handling routine workflows.

That means our people can spend more time on the things technology cannot do well:

Judgment. Problem-solving. Relationships. Leadership. Communication. And understanding people.

You will learn to use technology as a force multiplier rather than simply performing tasks manually.

What You'll Do

Monitor and manage homeowner, Board, and vendor requests through our software platform

Use AI and technology tools to organize, research, prioritize, and respond to requests

Communicate directly with homeowners when personal assistance is needed

Recognize when an issue can be handled through our systems and when it requires human judgment

Assist Community Managers with the operation of assigned communities

Coordinate with vendors and contractors

Follow up on open issues and make sure commitments are completed

Assist with Board meetings, notices, correspondence, and documentation

Learn how to interpret and apply HOA governing documents

Learn HOA laws, procedures, and community-management best practices

Develop relationships with homeowners, Board members, vendors, and other professionals

Identify opportunities to improve our systems and workflows

Gradually assume greater responsibility as your knowledge and capabilities develop

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for potential more than a résumé. You may already have HOA or property-management experience. That's great. But you might also come from customer service, real estate, hospitality, technology, operations, finance, education, or another field entirely.

What matters most is how you think and how you interact with people.

We want someone who:

The Human Touch Still Matters

We're excited about AI and automation. But we don't believe HOA management can—or should—become entirely automated. A homeowner may submit a request through the portal, but sometimes what they really need is someone to listen.

A Board member may have a complicated question that requires judgment rather than a canned response.

A vendor may need someone to resolve an issue.

A difficult situation may require empathy, diplomacy, and experience.

Knowing when technology is enough—and when a human needs to step in—is an important part of this job.

Compensation & Benefits

$28–$33 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and potential.

We are willing to pay for exceptional talent. Candidates with an unusual combination of intelligence, communication skills, technology aptitude, and leadership potential may be considered at the upper end of the range.

We offer a competitive benefits package, including health benefits, paid vacation, PTO, and paid holidays.

Where You'll Work

We have offices in Torrance and West Los Angeles.

This is a primarily in-office position.

We believe having our team together is important for training, collaboration, mentoring, problem-solving, and developing the systems and culture that will allow our company to grow.

We also recognize that flexibility can have value. As our technology and workflows continue to evolve, there may be situations where remote work makes business sense.

Any remote-work flexibility will be considered based on the needs of the business, the responsibilities of the position, and the individual's experience and performance. Remote work is not a standard component of the position.
