Day Shifts | No Call | No OB or Cardiac | Medically Directed

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens opportunity in Wichita Falls, Texas, with anticipated coverage beginning March 2027.

This opportunity offers a diverse surgical case mix in an established hospital anesthesia program, with daytime coverage, no call responsibilities, and no OB or cardiac cases. Work alongside an experienced anesthesia team in a medically directed practice with predictable daytime scheduling and a broad range of general surgical procedures.

Schedule & Practice Setting

• Day shifts, primarily 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• No call required
• March 2027 anticipated start
• Hospital-based anesthesia practice
• Medically directed CRNA model
• 14 operating rooms and one endoscopy suite
• Daily staffing of five anesthesiologists and 13 CRNAs
• Epic EMR

Clinical Case Mix

• General surgery and endoscopy
• Orthopedic surgery
• General urology and gynecology
• Plastic surgery
• Select neurosurgical cases, primarily tumor biopsies and hematomas
• Pediatric cases optional
• No obstetric or cardiac anesthesia
• No complex intracranial aneurysm cases
• Regional blocks not required

Required Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Texas APRN licensure and appropriate CRNA credentials
• Current national nurse anesthesia certification
• Experience managing a broad range of general surgical anesthesia cases
• Comfortable practicing within a medically directed anesthesia team
