$50,000 - $75,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage client cases from intake to resolution, ensuring timely progress and communication.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries with empathy and clarity.
• Draft and file routine motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Organize and maintain case files, keeping all documentation current and accessible for the legal team.
• Schedule and manage court dates, hearings, and deadlines, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies, contributing insights and logistical support.
• Facilitate communication between clients, attorneys, and external parties to ensure seamless case progression and resolution of issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

This person must have excellent time management skills in addition to the following:

• Minimum 3+ years of legal experience in a law firm or court environment (required).

• Prior experience as a Case Manager, Senior Legal Assistant, or Paralegal preferred.

• Criminal-defense experience strongly preferred.

• Florida Notary Public (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).

• High school diploma required.

• Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable with case-management software and video platforms (Salesforce experience preferred).

• Tech-savvy and open to using AI tools, with good judgment about verification and confidentiality.

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

• Reliable transportation to travel between our Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton offices.

• Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to help people in need. You must love criminal defense.

• A strong-minded person who can handle coaching in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional, confidential, and courteous manner.

• A curiosity to learn things quickly and always strive to be better.

• Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
