Night Shift Lead — 3D Printed Footwear Production

Your mission Own the night shift. You'll lead the production team, maintain printer uptime and output quality, and act as the main point of contact between the floor and operations management. You'll be expected to solve problems in real time, support your team's development, and help drive continuous improvements to our SOPs and workflows. What you'll do Lead and coordinate a team of production associates across printing, post-processing, washing, drying, finishing, and shipping Operate and monitor 3D printing and post-processing equipment, escalating issues quickly and minimizing downtime Maintain and improve key production metrics including printer uptime, output quality, and shift efficiency Conduct quality checks on finished footwear and ensure defects are flagged, documented, and communicated to QC Follow and contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) — identifying gaps and recommending improvements Assign tasks, manage shift coverage, and support team members with training and real-time guidance Keep the production floor clean, safe, and organized throughout the shift Hand off clearly to the next shift lead; documenting status, open issues, and priorities Your profile Safety-first mindset: You model and enforce safety standards at all times Experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred Comfortable operating machinery and troubleshooting basic equipment issues Strong attention to detail and quality. You notice when something's off before it becomes a problem Clear communicator. You give direct feedback, document findings, and keep management informed Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure. You set the tone for your team Willing to work nights, including some weekends Based in Austin, TX or nearby Experience with 3D printing or additive manufacturing is a plus — not required Why us?
