TITLE
RN Nurse Manager - Med Surg

SCHEDULE
Full-time Days (07:00-19:00, No Weekends)

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 13

REQUIREMENTS
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- At least 2 years of experience as Charge Nurse/CNC/Nurse Manager in an acute care setting

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate nursing services and accept organizational accountability for services provided 24/7.
- Provide leadership and supervision of personnel, fostering a climate conducive to learning and development.
- Assume responsibility for staffing and scheduling with appropriate utilization of personnel.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and hospital policies.
