Screening Sales Representative - Las Vegas, NV

Position Overview A Screening Solutions Specialist (SSS) is a front‑line position in the fight against cancer. The SSS will drive product growth of Cologuard in medical practices to meet sales goals within the assigned geography and deliver diagnostic solutions by establishing the importance of colorectal cancer (CRC) diseases and screening. This role aims to enhance customer relationships to drive growth and revenue while improving patient outcomes through integration of Exact Sciences’ solutions. The position is field‑based. Essential Duties Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems and the market landscape to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and deliver improved patient outcomes. Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care to identify account opportunities and collaborate with health‑care professionals to improve clinical decision‑making. Build a network of relationships within accounts to gain insight into system, customer, and patient unmet needs, capturing information in the CRM database (poC, sales activities, market intelligence, funnel development, etc.). Synthesize data from formal and informal sources to understand the evolving local care system, using tools such as Engage (CRM), Excel, Tableau, and research to make data‑driven decisions on account potential and opportunities. Develop and implement business and account plans to increase visibility and awareness of the company’s products and maximize sales growth. Create business and account plans based on opportunities to drive acceptance of Cologuard and other Exact Sciences solutions. Lead the implementation of these plans, devising customer‑specific pre‑ and post‑call engagement approaches that evaluate and address customer needs in collaboration with screening advocates, medical affairs, and marketing. Inform, educate, and enable target physician and stakeholder groups about Exact Sciences products and value propositions. Proactively drive business growth by focusing on high‑potential customers and initiating connections to uncover unmet needs and opportunities. Seek regular feedback from customers regarding their experience, service, satisfaction, and perceived value. Lead the successful implementation of account plans through collaboration and coordination with key internal stakeholders. Ensure execution of targeted tactics to deliver business goals in coordination with cross‑functional stakeholders. Communicate a clear and compelling description of customer needs and opportunities to mobilize resources. Conduct business to the highest ethical and professional standards, consistent with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including questioning and listening. Maintain a confident, professional, and credible presence. Deliver strong presentation skills in both telephone and face‑to‑face interactions. Exhibit excellent interpersonal, time‑management, and organizational skills. Operate on a mobile device, tablet, or computer, performing typing for approximately 90% of the typical working day. Simultaneously use a computer and phone. Travel locally on a daily basis and, at times, overnight travel may be required based on territory and/or business needs. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. 2+ years of previous sales, inside sales, or account management experience; or 1+ year of sales experience plus 1+ year in a healthcare setting; or completion of active‑duty military service as a Junior Officer or above. Valid driver’s license with no suspended, revoked, or invalid status. No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months. No alcohol or drug event involving vehicle use in the last 36 months. No other Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) results that expose the company to unacceptable liability. Ability to meet healthcare facility requirements (e.g., vaccination, mask). Demonstrated ability to perform duties with or without accommodation. Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in sales of medical devices or diagnostics. Experience working with primary care physicians as targeted customers. Background in commissioned, tangible product sales. Expertise in computer technology specific to sales. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and a CRM tool. Ability to listen empathetically and understand diverse communication styles. Effective organizational and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work confidently in a complex, ambiguous environment. Ability to create value through new processes and concepts. Team player with independent workload management. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking, entrepreneurial environment. Simultaneous use of telephone and computer.
