Pricing Specialist

We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to support pricing execution and strategy for Gordon Food Service Stores. In this role, you will be key to maintaining price integrity, ensuring competitive positioning, and supporting profitability across assigned geographic regions and product categories.

What you will do:

• Pricing Strategy & Operations: Execute, monitor, and update shelf pricing, competitive adjustments, promotions, liquidation pricing, and customer-specific price structures.
• Data Analysis & Review: Conduct scheduled pricing and margin reviews across assigned product lines or geographic regions. Analyze profitability impact and evaluate sales volume trends to recommend strategic updates.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Merchandising, Revenue Management, Sales, and Store teams to process pricing requests, ensure accurate cost inputs, and identify growth opportunities.
• Strategy & Process Development: Participate in organizational initiatives to develop enhanced pricing models, software tools, and margin tracking documentation.
• Market Tracking: Stay informed on market trends, competitor pricing activities, and industry insights.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field + 24 years of relevant professional experience (pricing, sales, marketing, or business analysis.
• Prior experience in pricing management or margin analysis is preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills, with a track record of deriving clear business recommendations from large data sets.
• Proficiency with standard office productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel) and comfort learning proprietary database or pricing systems.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills across various settings (email, virtual platforms, and in-person meetings).
• Strong organizational habits, high attention to detail, and sound decision-making under shifting priorities.

Your Work Schedule & Flexibility:

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Standard Business Hours).
• Modern Hybrid Model: Enjoy the best of both worlds with a flexible schedule: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home.
