Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Century Country Club in Purchase, NY. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering HR policies, managing personnel records, and coordinating employee benefits. The Human Resources Specialist will assist with recruitment and onboarding, help organize training and development activities, and respond to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The role also includes supporting performance management processes, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, and partnering with leadership to promote a positive workplace culture. The specialist will collaborate closely with managers and staff across departments to maintain accurate HR documentation and support consistent HR practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) knowledge and experience in HR Management.
• Candidates should possess skills in developing, interpreting, and implementing HR Policies.
• Candidates should possess experience in Employee Benefits administration and communication.
• Candidates should possess skills in Personnel Management, including record-keeping and employee relations.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with employment law, HRIS systems, and payroll processes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Experience in hospitality, clubs, or service-oriented environments is a plus.
• Preferred education includes an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
