Hematology/Oncology

Seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to provide full-time clinic and call coverage for an established adult patient panel. The provider will manage both hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient setting while participating in inpatient consultative call coverage.

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $500/hr, 24-Hour Call: $3985 per 24 hours,

Night Call: $960/shift, Call Back: $550/hr.

Schedule

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Minimum Commitment: 6 months (ongoing)

Full-time, Monday–Friday

Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

First patient: 8:15–8:30 AM

Last patient: 3:30 PM

30-minute lunch

Call Coverage

Night Call: 10 nights per month

4:15 PM – 8:00 AM

Typically 2–3 patient calls between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM

Rarely any calls after 9:00 PM

Covers inpatient consults, ER, and hospital team

Weekend Call: 2 weekends per month

24-hour call

Includes 2 hours of gratis rounding each day

Call rotation: 1:2

Phone calls do not count as callback

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat adult hematology and oncology patients

Manage benign and malignant hematologic disorders

Treat solid tumor oncology patients

Provide inpatient hematology/oncology consults

Participate in tumor boards

Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary team

Practice Details

Approximately 15 patients per day

Patient mix:

60% Hematology

40% Oncology

Established patient panel

14-chair infusion center

2-bed infusion room

Radiation Oncology onsite

Hospitalists manage admissions

Procedures

Bone marrow biopsies: Not required

Lumbar punctures: Not required

Port access: Not required

Bone marrow transplant consults/care: Not required

Support Staff

1.3 Hematology/Oncology physicians

3 Advanced Practice Providers

Oncology-certified nursing staff

Onsite pharmacist

Multidisciplinary tumor boards

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC

DEA

Minimum of 1 year of experience

Additional Information

Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file

Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days

24-hour call includes 2 gratis hours

Travel reimbursement available per facility guidelines.
