This role involves providing high-quality nursing care on a medical/surgical unit with a geriatric mix, including subacute rehabilitation. The position requires delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment for adult patients with a variety of diagnoses. Job Details Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) working on a Medical Surgical (MS) unit with swing beds, serving adult and geriatric patients. The facility is a critical access hospital providing inpatient, surgical, emergency, and diagnostic services. Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure in Kentucky, ACLS, BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Unit has 16 beds for Medical Surgical patients and 2 for Adult Critical Care/Step-Down. The patient ratio is approximately 6:1, and hospital electronic health records are maintained using Medhost. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care and some rehab settings; ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
