Coolray Heating & Cooling is growing in Nashville, and we're looking for a driven Comfort Advisor to join our team. In this role, you'll meet with homeowners who are considering replacing or upgrading their HVAC systems, understand what's most important to them, and provide solutions that deliver greater comfort, efficiency, and value for their home.

Responsibilities

Who Are You?

• Meet with homeowners in their homes to evaluate their comfort needs and recommend appropriate HVAC replacement and upgrade solutions.
• Build trust with customers through a professional, consultative, and educational sales approach.
• Ask the right questions, listen carefully, and identify the customer's priorities, concerns, budget, and comfort goals.
• Present HVAC system options and clearly explain differences in equipment, efficiency, features, warranties, financing options, and overall value.
• Follow Coolray's established sales process while creating a personalized experience for every customer.
• Educate homeowners on high-efficiency equipment, indoor air quality solutions, accessories, available promotions, and other products that may improve their home's comfort.
• Prepare accurate proposals and clearly communicate pricing and available options.
• Consistently work toward established sales, closing, revenue, and customer experience goals.
• Follow up with customers and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities.
• Build strong customer relationships that generate repeat business, referrals, and positive reviews.
• Partner closely with technicians, installation teams, dispatch, and operations to ensure a smooth transition from the initial appointment through installation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of appointments, proposals, customer communications, and sales activity.
• Stay current on HVAC products, equipment, financing programs, promotions, and industry trends.
• Represent Coolray professionally and uphold our standards for integrity and exceptional customer care.

Qualifications

Do I Have What It Takes?

• 2+ years of successful sales experience ; in-home sales experience strongly preferred.
• HVAC, home improvement, roofing, windows, remodeling, solar, plumbing, electrical, restoration, or other residential home-services sales experience is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to build relationships, overcome objections, and close high-value sales.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs rather than simply sell a product.
• Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable discussing financing, pricing, and multiple solution options with homeowners.
• Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable results.
• Ability to manage multiple appointments and opportunities while maintaining strong follow-up.
• High level of integrity and commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Comfortable using CRM, sales, and mobile technology to manage customer and sales activity.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer homes throughout the Nashville service area.
• Ability to occasionally access attics, crawl spaces, garages, and other areas of a customer's home and climb ladders as needed.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions commonly encountered in residential HVAC environments.
