Senior Investment Portfolio Specialist

The Senior Investment Portfolio Specialist supports all lines of Wealth Asset Management by engaging in portfolio management, strategy implementation, trading, performance reporting, marketing, and compliance. They are subject‑matter experts for processes and systems used in Wealth Asset Management. Responsibilities Work directly with the asset allocation and manufacturing teams to implement investment strategy decisions across multiple lines of business. Collaborate with Senior Portfolio Managers to invest client accounts according to risk tolerance and investment strategy, and recommend specific investments based on the Prudent Investor Rule. Use discretion in complex situations involving investing, rebalancing, raising cash, tax harvesting, and changing asset allocation. Assist Portfolio Managers in establishing and implementing complex investment strategies such as Dollar‑Cost Averaging plans and low‑cost basis analysis. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of and use asset‑management software (Morningstar Direct, Factset, Bloomberg) to analyze portfolios through attribution or performance analysis. Provide supplemental data analysis and research to the Asset Allocation and Manufacturing teams. Facilitate trade entry, execution, and reporting with equity and fixed‑income traders. Collaborate with various lines of business to develop reports and templates for client retention and new business development. Monitor and correct account exceptions in partnership with Trust Compliance and Portfolio Managers. Lead projects or committees that benefit the Investment Solutions team and Asset Management group. Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies. Write procedures and workflows to follow established policies. Populate and maintain databases with firm‑ and strategy‑level updates for asset retention and new business development. Handle additional duties and special projects assigned by Senior Management, including proxy voting, corporate actions, vendor‑management liaison, soft‑dollar, and broker‑dealer analysis. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training). Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced understanding of trusts, investment products, markets, banking, and investment regulations. Demonstrated ability to generate robust and scalable solutions for the Investment Solutions team. Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Strong critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and exhibit high accountability and responsibility. Ability to operate related equipment to perform essential job functions. Ability to travel as required to perform essential job functions. Capability to lift, move, or carry approximately 10 pounds (if required), with accommodations for those unable to meet this requirement without undue hardship.
