Role Overview Physicians establish or transition to an independently operated practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. The physician retains full clinical authority and ownership of the practice entity, while MedCBO supplies non‑clinical business and operational support services. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing in collaboration with MedCBO. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Physician-directed relocation and market selection subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
