Required Skills:

• Valid RN license and certification as an RNFA or CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of recent perioperative or surgical experience
• Proven proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting procedures
• Strong understanding of surgical protocols and safety standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Additional certifications in advanced surgical techniques
• Experience working with diverse surgical teams
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse patient population

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
• Previous experience in cardiac and vascular surgeries
• Proven record of reliability and professional growth in surgical settings

Other Requirements:

• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Certification such as ABSA, NBSTSA, or NCCT
• Availability for rotating call shifts, including every third day and weekends
• Flexibility to fulfill weekend and after-hours call responsibilities
• Willingness to participate in endoscopic vein harvesting procedures
• Valid licensure and necessary travel or certification reimbursements when applicable
