Cost Accounting Manager: Inventory & Costing Lead

Summary The Cost Accounting Manager oversees inventory and cost accounting functions within a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. This role partners closely with operations and finance to support decision-making, maintain strong controls, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities Manage inventory and cost accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods Lead monthly close activities including reconciliations and variance analysis Analyze cost drivers, production variances, and provide actionable insights Ensure accurate COGS reporting and inventory valuation Maintain internal controls and support audit requirements Partner cross-functionally with Operations and FP&A Identify and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements Lead and develop accounting staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-7+ years of cost or inventory accounting experience Strong understanding of manufacturing costing and inventory processes Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
