Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting them in daily living activities and promoting their independence. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
• Support individuals in meal preparation and cooking healthy meals that meet dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness in living areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, including medication administration when required.
• Engage clients in social activities and community integration to promote social skills and independence.

Preferred Experience (But Willing to Train)
Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Group home or assisted living environments
• Home & community care experience
• Patient care within nursing homes or hospice settings
• Working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience in caregiving roles that involve heavy lifting and patient monitoring

Must be able to pass a background check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, On-Call

Pay: $16.50 - $20.35 per hour
