Job Title

The Division of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

Job Description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai offers an exciting research environment that is highly collaborative and with world-class shared research facilities. Qualified candidates must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with a strong record or established research funding, including NIH grants. The successful candidates are expected to establish a dynamic and independently funded research program, as well as to support and participate in collaborative cutting-edge research throughout the medical school.

Responsibilities

  • Leading clinical or translational research program, area of study may be varied but cross-disciplinary initiatives in maternal and fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, genomics, or imaging sciences or closely related fields are welcomed.
  • Teaching and supervising medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
  • Participating in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives
  • For physician applicants, providing clinical care relevant to their subspecialty

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates must hold a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD with a strong record or established research funding, including NIH grants.
  • Up-to-date and active research experience of 5 years or more, including NIH- or similar funding.
  • Suitable for working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with peers and train postdocs and graduate students effectively.

Compensation range from 300K to 500K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits, relocation assistance, and professional development opportunities are part of this nationally and locally competitive compensation package. Seed packages are available.
