Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Current state license or multi-state license Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Must-Have: Approved 6-hour suicide training, verification of demographics from Nursys, team player with emergency department experience Description: This is a 13-week contract for night shift. The schedule is 1830-0700 with 12-hour shifts and guarantees 36 hours a week. There is an option to pick up extra shifts. Candidates must have current state or multi-state licensure. Verification of approved 6-hour suicide training is required. Candidates must provide verification of demographics from Nursys. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are mandatory. Knowledge of the electronic medical record system is helpful but not required. Candidates must be team players with experience and knowledge as emergency department nurses. Requests for time off must be pre-approved and included with full availability for scheduling. The position is located near beaches and a national forest. Holiday coverage is required.
